On Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., Asyl Spenge e. V. invites you to a special live presentation:
“The New Syria – A Journey Through a Country in Transition”
The event will take place at the auditorium of the primary school in Spenge.
Photographer, author, and journalist Lutz Jäkel takes the audience on an extraordinary journey through Syria. Through powerful photographs, personal encounters, and moving stories, he provides direct insight into the lives of people and the changes currently taking place in the country.
The presentation is not only about politics and history, but above all about the people: their everyday lives, their hopes, their concerns, and their perspectives for the future.
The event offers an opportunity to discover Syria from a different and personal perspective and to engage in dialogue and exchange.
